BLOATENZ Helps maintain normal gut function in cattle grazing lush pasture or clover pasture. Bloatenz is an important product during the spring time, as cattle are turned out onto lush Spring grass and bloat becomes a problem. Bloatenz is a unique product, is the only product of its kind on the market available from Nutribio in 5 LTR and 25LTR drums.

What is BLOAT?
Bloat is a digestive disorder of ruminant animals and occurs when trapped fermentation gas causes distention of the rumen and reticulum. Gas builds up and combines with a slimy substance to form a froth. This froth traps the gas in the rumen / reticulum and prevents the animal from eliminating the excess by belching. Continued formation of the froth leads to a build up of great pressure and if left untreated, death follows within 3 hours of the onset of the condition.

Bloat is prevalent in cattle grazing lush grass in either Spring or Autmun and is more pronounced in pastures with a high clover content. It may also occur in cattle being fed concentrate rations and particularly those containing a high proportion of grain.

Sub-clinical bloat is also a problem in that a stable foam is produced in the rumen/reticulum and the only symptoms apparent are depression in liveweight gain or milk production.
Bloatenz works by helping to maintain normal gut function in cattle grazing lush pasture, by adding to the drinking water.
