Precalving solutions for dairy and beef animals
If cows are mineral deficient pre calving there is a risk of numerous deficiency symptoms; milk fever,
calf abortions,
pernatal calf deaths,
retained placenta,
calf deaths,
mastitis.
For a relatively small cost a good quality precalver mineral is insurance against costly deficiency symptoms & should be fed 4-6 weeks precalving.
